You will receive a small book that the retreat leaders have co-authored, which contains the sequence and instruction on the pranayama and meditation. This book will be a gift that you can take with you when you want to roll out your mat without the use of a screen.

We hope it will be a gift that continues to offer you benefits for life!

This retreat is a nod to the old ways of yoga - and we will also have some surprise movement sessions that will feel more freeform and playful!

Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I get there?

Address to plug into your google maps

Frog City Cafe

315 Linden Ave, Kaleden, BC V0H 1K0

Ponderosa Point Resort

319 Ponderosa Ave, Kaleden, BC V0H 1K0

Can I request to share a room with friends?

YES!

What will the weather be like that time of year?

Usually GORGEOUS and the most comfortable weather.

Late September in the Okanagan is best for the fall harvest, enjoying warm, comfortable hiking weather, and experiencing vibrant autumn colors. It is the peak season for touring vineyards, visiting local farms for apple picking and cider tasting, and exploring scenic spots like the Myra Canyon Trestles without the intense summer heat.

Think light puffy or sweater weather, warm fall sun and cooler nights for deeper sleeps.

What other activities are there to do near Frog City if I decide to arrive early or stay later?

Lake activities - swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking

Climbing - world class sport climbing just up in the Skaha Bluffs!

Hiking - the Little Tunnel via the KVR Trail (8.8 km, panoramic lake views), the scenic Skaha Lake KVR section(9.2 km), or the steeper Yellow Lake hike.

Wine tours and tasting - Lakeboat, Skaha, Kraze Legs, and Liquidity are all nearby!

What will the food be like?

We are opting for mostly vegetarian, what is in season/as much farm to table as possible, and chicken and fish options! We can accommodate dairy free and gluten free.

Can I come if I'm inversion-curious but don't practice them, or if I don't want to practice inversions?

Yes! There will be two of us working the room to make sure everyone finds an option that ticks the boxes for them.
