About Me

About me

Thank you for being here.

My name is Lydia Zamorano.

I use she/her pronouns.

I feel deeply connected when I share the gifts I receive from the techniques of yoga, as well as other intentional somatic and mindfulness-based practices. My enthusiasm for learning and sharing embodiment has not wavered in almost 20 years, perhaps it has grown. Part of this is because I continue to build community and relationships within this work, which keeps me energized and hopeful.

I’m trauma informed https://www.traumasensitiveyog..., and pain care aware https://paincareaware.com, and hope these practices can serve all of your beautiful and different bodies.

These practices are meant to support you in your own unique life navigation, as well as connect you to your joy.

In my experience, play and deep rest are antidotes for stress. Play cannot be forced and does not have expectations. Deep rest is essential in this digital age. I incorporate an abundance of both in these practice sessions.

When I’m not here sharing with you, I’m out exploring and climbing rocks and exploring Canada’s west side with my two children and husband. We live between Blackfoot, Kntuaxa, Stoney, Tsuu T’ina, and Skwxwú7mesh-ulh Temíx̱w ancestral lands.

I also offer opportunities to deepen your study and practice, whether you are a facilitator of yoga or not. Contact me to learn more about courses and yoga facilitator trainings.

I love hearing from you and enjoy taking practice requests. I want to know what is working for you and what you’d like to see more of. What I learn from our relationships is what keeps me going.

I hope to see you in the live community classes, which can be a great place to connect and engage!

Thanks again for sharing time and space with me.
